Venting part 2(S-MIL) LONG!!!

mini background-she is evil and bitter, didnt get married til 40, married Dhs dad when DH was 15, so he isnt close to her, honestly he cant stand her, they hated me from the first time i met them, said terrible things about me and my family, brought boxes to dh in csae he came to his senses when we moved in together so he could pack up and leave, almost skipped our wedding, FIL has warmed up to me, most likey bc DH didnt speak to him for almost 10 months due to how awful they treated me....FILS sister is SUPER close to S-MIL and when her son got married had a family vote and basically decided that DH could come to the wedding but I was not welcome, this was last summer(08) and we havent seen the aunt or cousins since....cousins had a a baby in august, SMIL ruined last christmas by telling me all about their honeymoon pregnancy and how excited everyone was and how the first grandchild is the most special....

FIL invited us to dinner last night, we hadnt seen SMIL since June or July, and we ran into FIL in October and ended up having lunch with him...so we go and it was fine, until DH and FIL went to the garage to look at something. She immediately started it on how rude I was that I hadnt been to see the baby, he was born in august(honestly i didnt even know it was a he, or the babies name til last night) and just because I am "broken"doesnt mean anyone else should be treated like that. i told her that I am not "broken" we have MF and actually neither of us is broken, it just is what it is....and that in all honestly even if we had 12 babies, I would not of gone to see that baby they did not invite us to the wedding and basically "voted me out of the family" then she tells me, well you took R(DH) away from us, and none of us is going to forgive you for not including us in the wedding planning (WTH)

THEN she tells me that i need to get overmyself and just accept that I am too fat to have a baby and i need a hysterctomy bc its not fair to DH that I end up in the ER because of my bleeding.....I am just sitting there staring at her.....then she says I would think that you would get along with M(cousins wife) bc she never lets anyone get as much time with the baby as her mom does...i think a baby is a family baby and if you guys ever adopt I WILL pick up the baby when I want, its not just yours....I just looked at her and laughed and said...i highly doubt that is going to EVER happen....then DH and FIL came in, I looked at DH, grabbed my purse and said its time to go.

I filled in DH and he is calling his dad today, this is completely unnacepteable for het to act like this.....and she has another thing coming is she EVER thinks I will let her around my children, I dont even let her dogsit...

Thanks for reading if you got this far.....I just needed to get it all out, I have no idea what I ever did to her to incur her wrath, but I am NOT taking it anymore!!

Wow, what a nut. I'm so sorry they are treating you that way. I don't understand some people and why they feel they can cause drama. I would stay away from them, too!

Holy hell! Kudos to you for not killing her. I would have for sure been locked up after that. I'm so sorry you had to deal with that. Family is never easy but what you dealt with is outrageous! I guess the silver lining is that DH seems to be supportive of you and on your side. That's always important to me when the inlaws cross any lines. Hang in there! Hugs!

Good Grief!! She sounds like such a witch, good riddance to her for sure. I can't believe you had to sit there and listen to that crap, I'm sure it's hurtful to not feel welcomed into their family, even though they are whack jobs!! Hang in there!!

Also, sorry about your Uggs, I can't live without mine either and my DH yardsales his crap all over our house so I would blame him too if mine were ripped like yours.

About your Uggs.... a friend of mine had a pair that was a couple years old and they ripped. She called the company and they sent her a new pair. No questions asked...might be worth a try.
