Babies on the Brain

Wait a freaking minute....(duggar)

The whole Duggar thing?  Yeah, they can remove your GB in second tri.... I was told this by my aunt who is a high risk OB.  Don't get me wrong, my T&Ps are with them... but given the situation I went through, I have no idea what would make them deliver the baby when there are other alternatives.

  • I'm wondering if maybe the stress on her body was too much and putting the baby into distress.  If it was just the gallbladder you'd think they would try to remove it and leave the baby in as long as possible.  There has to be something else that happened.

  • Well, when you wear your body out using your uterus as a circus clown car, you are not a typical case study.
  • I think something probably happened that isn't being made public.  Which is fine.  We don't need her entire medical history.
  • She may have gone into labor.  They were going to have to do a c-section anyway because of how many previous ones she had had.

Which would be true, if they didn't whore out their family, and their previous reproductive history (re:BC caused our M/C) to the world.

I mostly just meant I don't care about her entire medical history.

  • I am going to guess that something else happened.  Sometimes doctors think that the epi-gastric pain comes from pre eclampsia/hellp is GB attack pain.  In some of the reports they mentioned high bp.  If I had to guess this is what I would think is going on.

  • Well, I am sure we'll be able to tune in and find out in a few weeks...

  • There is NO WAY the doctors would have delivered here baby this early just because she didn't want to deal with the gall bladder issues while pregnant.  Only an emergency of some type, where either the babies or the mother's life was at risk, would warrant a c-section at 25 weeks.  There is obviously more to this story than has been released for now, and that's OK, everybody deserves some privacy, even if your life is filmed for all of the world to watch.

  • All I am saying is that they REFUSED to deliver Tori at 34 weeks.  I was in PTL, had a major infection brewing, and being pumped full of narcotics.  They finally induced at 36.

Reports were saying she was experiencing GB complications... and I am just wondering why they didn't try preventative measures (like my stint) to reduce the risk of an early delivery.

Again, we'll probably learn more in the future.

I, too, heard about the high blood pressure, and PTL, so I'm thinking one of these led to the C/s...unless her GB burst or something.
