NBR - Christmas

What are you asking for for Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanza or whatever you celebrate this time of year?  I am out of things I need, but still need to give a list to family.

    I'm not asking for anything. I don't need anything. I know what kind of finacial situation we're in... and I doubt everyone else is way better off. IF they want to get something for our LO, that's cool. I have a registery and a few items left over from the shower...

    The only thing I was able to tell DH was a pair of Ariat Phat Babies. I am out of ideas too. I don't want or need anything right now.

    DH asks me 7 times a day, and I really can't think of anything. The only thing I asked for was a yoga ball, but I ended up picking one up when I was out yesterday b/c it was on sale. DH and I are asking for gift cards from Target from parents and ILs to get the rest of the stuff from the registry.

    I like to make cards and scrapbook a little, so I have asked for anything craft related, embellishments etc, and some Fiskars tools that I have had my eye on.

    Pyjamas, slippers etc....

    I'm asking for a gift card to Best Buy to put towards a DSLR camera before LO is here. My sister got one and I was shocked at how much better the pictures quality is.

    Also some little stuff. New pj's, robe, slippers I can use at the hospital and after, make up (for whatever reason every Christmas is when I stock up on make up for the year)

    Glad to see others are in the same situation, not that it helps but at least its comforting.  I am looking through the Target website right now - gifts for her.  Maybe something will look good.

    so far I know we are getting gift cards (DH's grandma told me to go out and buy DH and I ourselves presents and she'd reimburse us..I told her I'm a lil busy at the moment to worry about running out to get myself something although I do appreciate the offer--MIL told her to go ahead and just get us mall giftcards since she knows I'll want some new clothes a few mos down the line), a new wallet from SIL and a camcorder from FIL/MIL--my mom mentioned getting my brother/his wife and me and DH tickets to see a broadway show for sometime next year. Don't you love how it's all a surprise?! HAHAHAHA.  Needless to say, I'm grateful because they're all awesome and completely generous.

    I would love to get stuff for our house, things that I just don'tthink about getting when I am at the store or think is too overpriced to justify buying at the time.  But I really need things like towels, a new laundry hamper or two, stainless steel cookware, new jammies, picture frames.
