My uterus effing hates me

Ok ladies, I have been having contractions EVERY NIGHT since Monday for at least 4 hours straight, every 10 or so minutes. And then, magically, they stop. I lost my MP on Wednesday night, and had some bloody show, now NOTHING.
So, my uterus hates me and I feel defective. Yes, I'm getting induced on Tuesday so the end is in sight, but I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to go into labor in my own and not be on pitocin this time around.
Send me labor dust pretty please with sugar, whipped cream and a cherry or whatever you ladies are craving these days.

You're having Prodromal Labor. It's your uterus warming up for the real thing.Think of a runner stretching before the big race. It's good b/c that means the Baby is being put into position and everything is getting ready. It's also good b/c, according to Hubby, it means you can have a quick labor from start to finish. (I keep forgetting to ask for the links he saw that on since I've only read a few things).

It doesn't last forever and it's very good. Your making progress. That also means your cervix is getting ready for labor. Prodromal labor usually softens the cervix and can dialate it between 1-4cm.

Also try doing up and down stairs sideways since it can help get the baby into a good position- gravity is a wonderful thing.
I have big babies. DD#1 was 11lbs 10oz.
