I don't get much online time these days...they are keeping me very busy!
So...Peyton Olivia - 2 lbs 8 oz, Chloe Alexandria 2 lbs 10 oz and Jacob Kevin 2 lbs 11 oz arrived on Nov 19. They are still in the NICU but doing amazing - today they are 3 lbs 8 oz, 3 lbs 9 oz & 3 lbs 12 oz!
Here's the short version of the birth story - I was in the hospital the week prior for high blood pressure, they suspected pre-eclampsia. They were just going to keep me until I had the babies, but decided to let me go home.
About a week later, at around 11pm I started bleeding & cramping - no fluids or anything, just blood. I was terrified..and we rushed to the hospital. They examined me in l & d, I wasn't dialating, but was having some pretty bad contractions, but not that often or close together. They said Baby A's sac had ruptured, and were just going to wait and see how things went, but since I'd had 2 rounds of steroids, they felt the babies would do alright. So around 6 am, they delivered Peyton, then Chloe, then Jake!
The birth went well - the girls were breathing and crying fine right from the beginning - Jake needed some more suctioning and was having a little problem breathing at first - he was on cpap, then vapotherm, then nasal cannula...and now the lid on his isolette is off, and the girls never needed any other assistance.
They are all just on monitors now, and have the feeding tube. They started breast and bottle feeding last week, and are doing really well. I'm a happy, but busy mom!

Congratulations! Sounds like everyone is doing great!
Wow, it sounds like everyone is doing great. They were so small when they are born! They seem to be putting weight on quickly though. I hope they get to come home soon. I'll keep you in my thoughts.
