Has anyone used maternity Spanx?

I have a wedding to go to 3 weeks before my EDD and I need to wear some sort of controling/support contraption underneath my dress.  I'm wondering if Spanx are worth it, or if I should look for the cheaper version in Kohl's or Target or something?

 Has anyone had any experience? TIA!

    I got mine at Macys in the maternity section.  I think they were like 15 bucks? They worked good for 2 weddings I was in the past 6 weeks :)

    I haven't tried maternity Spanx, but I have 5 pairs of regular Spanx and they are a lot better than her Target brand Assets.

    I've tried the Target Assets line.  It is pretty good.  Granted they don't suck you in as well partly because the belly part is very stretchy, but they do work to smooth everything out.

    I haven't seen the maternity assets in my target, but I did buy the spanx.  They work great for cotton dresses too, I hate panty lines so these help a lot!

    I got a few pairs at motherhood maternity for around $16 each I think.  I wore them for compression due to vein problems in my upper thighs. They are not spanks but fit just like them and by by panty lines :)
