Orange County Babies

Lunch Ideas?

My sister, my 3 month old niece and I are meeting a friend and her almost 2 year old daughter for lunch on Saturday.  We are in South Orange County and our friend is in Long Beach so we're looking for someplace in the middle ... Costa Mesa area?  We're wanting to stay away from busy busy South Coast Plaza ... anyone have suggestions??? :)

Thank you!!!

Re: Lunch Ideas?

  • Is there a specific kind of food you're looking for?

  • There's a Pat & Oscar's on Bristol not far from SCP. Otherwise Gypsy Den at The Lab or Wahoo's. If you want something super duper kid friendly, maybe somewhere on Harbor Blvd like Chuck E Cheese.

  • Or you could try BJ's off of Beach in Huntington Beach.  That is always a nice central meeting area.

  • I was going to suggest too Main St in Huntington Beach. It's nice to walk around there and tons of restuarants to choose from. Or the spectrum always has a wide selection - that's closer to South OC than Long Beach but it's fun and festive.

  • There's also a place called Old Vine Cafe in The Camp which is the opposite direction from SCP on Bristol.  And there's a Coco's and an Acapulco right off Harbor.

Also near that BJs on Beach is The Lazy Dog Cafe and Marie Callendar's.

  • Thanks, ladies!! I love the Lazy Dog in Anaheim/Orange.  So that might be an option.  I always forget about the anti-lab so maybe something over there would be good.  :)
