Give me a break!! Who would actually think this was a good idea?!
I am watching Real Housewives from OC and the new girl Alexis who has almost two year old twins took them to get a mani/pedi done. Of course they screamed and were running around the place and refused to get their nails done.
Re: Mani/Pedi for your almost 2 year old?!?
you're about a day late. I posted a post (weird phrasing, sorry.) about michelle duggar and manicures. It blew up in my face right about the time I mentioned I have been getting manicures since age 5.
hahaha.

ironically enough I'm from Orange County!
Same size will work
I paint DD1's toes and she LOVES it. It is my bribe to her when she is being really wild and I can't change her diaper or dress her. "DD do you want me to paint your toes? yes? ok then come lay down and get a diaper change." Works like a charm!
However, it gets some on her skin around her toenails so they don't look great till after her bath
ETA: But take her someplace to have it done? HeII no.

I thought people blew your post WAY out of proportion Linds.
Two or three is a bit early but, I can see how a five yr old would think that was fun stuff on a special occasion.
I don't see anything wrong with painting their nails, I just think it's crazy to think that 2 'almost two' girls will actually sit still at a salon!
Several times I have desperately needed a pedi and had to take Ashlyn
She sits on my lap the entire time and watches them messing with my feet
This last time they offered to paint her toes, and she got them painted.
it's not that i mind taking them to get their nails done as much as i wonder how the hell she thought she could wrangle the two of them AND get her own done?!! i mean, this is a lady who said in a previous episode, she brings a nanny EVERYWHERE. perhaps the mail salon would have been a good choice with two not even two year olds. lol.
in other news, i can hardly get dek to sit still for me to clip his nails! if i have a little girl, i'll be bringing a dvd player to the nail place!!
Like I said to each their own, but usually if you go to a salon regularly they don't charge you for painting the kids toes or if they do its like $10.
Linds it had to be a slow night (no juice/tv debacle) because that is just ridiculous that people are so judgey when it comes to mother/daughter bonding rituals.
must have been. meh. I didn't realise it was such a hot topic. haha!

I think this is rude and inconsiderate. Personally, I go to get a pedicure as a form of relaxation. I would be pretty annoyed if there were two toddlers running around screaming while I was trying to relax. It just isn't the place for a toddler.
While I wouldn't take my 5-year-old for a pedi, at least they are at an age where they are probably much more controllable behavior-wise.
