Our video camera is ancient. We have no video of Sophia (besides what my friend has on her video camera from when she babysits Soph every so often) and I'm really only looking for something small & compact that I can just throw into my bag and go.
I've heard The Flip and Sony Webbie aren't the greatest as far as video quality goes but I just wanted some opinions or if anyone has any other recommendations for something under like $250ish. We're on a budget for this one ![]()
Re: Who here has the Flip or Sony Webbie? Any other recs for small camcorders?
How's the video-quality? From the little that I've read, I hear it does better outdoors than indoors (no surprise there).
I havent tried to view it on anything larger than my laptop so I'll get back to you. You can probably find examples on youtube or something though. it is recorded in HD tho
From the review I read & saw, it showed the opposite. It seems as though it has more to do w/ the stability of your hand than anything....let me see if I can find the review & link it for you.
We're returning the Flip lol. Jordan met me for lunch today and we stopped by Best Buy afterward. We compared the Flip, Samsung U10, Sony's Webbie and Kodak's compact camcorder.
We got the Samsung U10 - it's has 1080p HD and takes SD cards, which I like that so that we can have as much recording space as we need. We got it out and played with it and the picture quality seems to be good for a compact camcorder. We'll see how it looks once we get it on the TV.
Ash, do you mind me asking about the price?
Can't wait to see videos of Sophia!
