NIFR: I don't know what to wear..

Normally I'm all about fashion and style and I love shopping and dressing up. But lately I've been in such a blah mood...the second I come home I put on yoga pants and a hoodie. And I've been wearing more casual (but still business casual) clothes to work lately as well.

Well next Thursday is DH's department's Holiday Party at the athletic director's house and I have no clue what to wear. It is a fairly fancy cocktail type party...not black tie but dressy. Last year I work a light grey skirt (fitted through the hips and thighs and it flaired out at the knees) and a thin black turtle neck, black heels and lots of sparkly big black and silver jewelry.

I can't find/think of anything to wear. I went shopping after work today and found nothing.

Any suggestions? DH will probably wear black dress pants and a button down dress shirt.

I could order something online but the stores we have here..Dillards, Ann Taylor Loft, Talbots, Belk, Gap...a few local stores.

My dressing up includes a nice pair of dark jeans (paige premium,Joes,7's or R&R) heals and a dressy top. Specially when im feeling blah, it is something I always feel comfortable in.

If you didn't find anything in any of those stores, maybe order online from Banana Republic, Anthropologie, or Shabby Apple.

Those stores usually have really cute dresses.

Thanks Willis! I really love the first one from BR! There is a BR in Montgomery so I may drive up there Saturday and see what I can find. I didn't go to ATL tonight so I have to hit that up Saturday too.

I'm just so sick of feeling so blah...I want to look good for DH!
