beautiful to brittle nails?

my nails have been gorgeous, but now are brittle and are breaking/chipping since i've been in my 3rd tri. anybody else experiencing this? is the baby taking my lovely nail nutrients?

    Mine just started to do that this week... and I am 27 weeks... so maybe?

    I'm a nail biter, so they weren't beautiful prepregnancy.  But, since getting pregnant I've chipped 2 teeth biting them.  So I guess they are getting stronger.

    i was a nailbiter for a long while...until i got married and quit cold turkey.

    same here! I was just noticing that today! So I filed them all down because otherwise I had a feeling I would start biting them again! I'm also a reformed nail biter!
