My 36 week visit was kind of dull :0

Luckily, all looks good with babe and my BP/weight/etc. seem fine. I was expecting an internal today and just got the normal routine. I didn't even ask when she starts doing internals, so I have no idea if I'm getting one next week or not.

I shaved my legs for nothing, lol!

at my appointment last week i did get an internal and immediately thought... thank god i shaved!!!!!!

i don't care so much for DH, but the doctor, gotta be freshly shaved lol?

I do know of many OBs who don't do internals until later... so don't stress over not getting one. ?

I feel ya. I had mt 35 1/2 week yesterday and I just got swabbed for gbs test. I wanted to say... "hey, as long as I'm naked over here why don't you go ahead and check things out"! I hope I have one next week.

I too had my 36 week check up and she did an internal only because she was screening me for the Group B strep, but I think it was more disappointing than a regular appt. She told me that my cervix is soft and that I'm still "closed" meaning no dilation. Honestly I would have rather not heard that and just assumed I was a little further along. Next appointment ask her when she does internals. I always shave my legs because you just never know when they are going to want to take a peek, although it is a pain in the rear to bend over and shave!!!!
