Welp! Ladies my time has come...tomorrow my induction starts, and hopefully a baby by the weekend..im feeling mighty crappy today, maybe a combo of nerves and anxiety..so im off to get some much needed rest. I hope everyone has a safe weekend, and ill be sure to update once the baby is born
, tomorrow will be a busy day, so I know i wont be able to bump...Lots of labor dust to my elders!!!
Today I am 41 weeks and 0 days..
By the way, how are you guys?? Any progress?

I'm fine. I lost my MP last night in a huge glob - it was disgusting - I thought all of you would like to know though. Been walking like a maniac and am even considering having sex tonight to see if anything happens. But, if not, I'm scheduled for an induction on Tuesday, so the end is near for me too!

I'm about to post my birth story! Just so you know, the balloon did NOT work for me. Well, it kind of did, but not enough.

As for me, still not progress, but I've got that great acupuncture appt. tomorrow so hopefully that'll do something for me. Still no MP or any sign of contractions.

Great news for you!
I am jealous. I had my 40 week appt yesterday - absolutely nothing happening. So we'll discuss induction at my next appt, either they'll do it the end of next week or the beginning of the following week. I am still hoping to go on my own but that's probably unrealistic at this point. Best of luck to you tomorrow!!

No real progress here. Induction scheduled for Monday, 12/21 if baby doesn't decide to make an appearance before then!

Posted an update earlier, but I'm 80% and still 2 centimeters. Got the membranes stripped this morning, so that was fun.

I hit 38 weeks today and at my first internal yesterday, was 2 cm dilated and 50-60% effaced. I fully expect to make it to my due date and beyond, but was happy to hear that something was going on down there!
I am a runner, knitter, scientist, DE-IVF veteran, and stage III colon cancer survivor.

At my 40w appointment on Monday, I was 1-2 cm dilated, and 80% effaced. I started losing pieces of my MP yesterday. If I don't go into labor before Monday, I have to go back to see my MW on Monday, and we're scheduling an induction for next week.
Twas the night before Mrs.M's induction.... Exciting!! Good luck. Best wishes for a smooth induction and a fast L&D! Can't wait to hear all about it.
38w appt last night. 85%-90% effaced, baby -2 station, not dilated, cervix is midline...making progress. MW said she would expect me to still be pg at next weeks appt, but after that all bets are off

Sorry, I had to write it, LOL! They gave me an emergency C-Section because I wouldn't stay dilated. I wish you better luck with yours! My experience may have sucked (due to some sh!tty nurses and long long hours of agonizing contractions and a pelvis bone that felt like it was going to break) but it was all SOOO worth it! DH and I are sooo in love it's incredible!!!!!!

At my 37 w check-up LO's NST was good. My sugar was high twice in a row now, but the doctors don't seem concerned. I have appointments twice a week from now on. Last week I had a size and weight u/s (6 lbs 10 oz at 35w 5 d) and a bio physical profile (score = 8/8 at 36w 1d).
I have had a few episodes of bleeding throughout the pregnancy. My perinataligist recommends delivering (via induction or c-section) if I bleed any more at all no matter how little the amount. OB confirmed they agree with the recommendation and no matter who's on call that's the deal if I see red.

I was only 1 cm at my last appt 2 wks ago so we'll see what they say at my next appt. on Mon. Keeping my fingers crossed we've had some progress in the last 2 wks!!!
