when does the car seat go in?!

Is 35wks too early? DH thinks it should go in this weekend, but I want to wait until after christmas. But then ppl at work keep asking me if the car seat is in yet!

so when did you put yours in?? Or when are you going to.

depends on when you are getting it inspected. I had mine in early with DD because the last appointment for inspection was before christmas. With DS my DH put it in that morning when he came to pick us up from the hospital LOL.

I will have my husband do that when Im in the hospital. I will be having a c-section so I will be in there for 3 to 4 days. I figure he can do it then.

We did it last weekend because our Sheriff's department only inspects car seats once a month and we wanted to make sure it was done before she was born (Dec inspection was this week)-- so 37+ wks.

I did mine last week. The state troopers around her install them, but only 1 day a week. I had it installed the same week I got it. I figured it was better to have it in early.

We are doing ours tomorrow- so a few days shy of 37 weeks. The nurse asked me today if we had it in so I took that as a good sign it was about that time to!

I just put mine in on Monday and had it inspected yesterday. I was starting to get anxious!! Stick out tongue

I think we installed ours (with my DD) at about 36/37 weeks, only because we wanted to make sure we had time for the inspection.

My DH is a firefighter, but here the police dept. does it so we needed to make an appt.

We're putting ours in this weekend (36w). I'd rather have it in early just in case LO decides to make an appearance. One more thing not to have to think about.
