3rd Trimester

My miracle on a day in TX history...(PIP)

THE miracle is my beautiful baby boy and the day in history is the winter storm we received during his birth. It has never snowed so early in Houston, TX. During labor there were sheets of snow falling, it was absolutely gorgeous!! Couldnt have been more perfect!

So I had my LO and he is so perfect!!! Went in on Friday after cramping all night after my internal Thursday. Got to the hospital a little before 6am, was checked in and in my hospital bed by 7. I was 3 centimeters with contractions 3-4 minutes apart.  My husband is a paramedic and the nursing staff is familiar with him they took great care of us and gave us the biggest room in L&D and called for my epi while I was checking in. Needless to say I felt NO CONTRACTIONS it was wonderful. Dr came to check for dilation at about 9am(I was 5cms),while checking my water broke. By 10 I felt "the pressure" nurse checked and I was fully dilated. Pushed 3 times and had my gorgeous baby boy at 10:41am!! He was 7lbs 5oz 20.5 inches long. The labor was so wonderful I'm still in shock how smoothly everything went.

Sending labor dust to my fellow JINGLE BELLIES!! See yall in 0-3 board.

 And now my snow baby...
