Vent: Best Buy

I want to get a portable DVD player.  I have $85 in Best Buy giftcards.  Seems like a no-brainer, right?  Well of course all their players under $100 get crap reviews, well all but 2 of all their players get crap reviews.  Please explain to me why anyone would want a portable DVD player that has no internal battery, so you have to keep it plugged in all the time?  So we really only have 1 choice that will fit our needs, and Best Buy sells it for $50 more than Amazon.  GRRRRRRRRRRRR!
