Anyone use cetrotide instead of ganirelix?

My old RE had me use ganirelix but this new RE has patients use cetrotide.  I was just wondering if anyone new a reason to use one over the other.

    I actually used both this cycle. I started with cetrotide but when I needed more n a pinch I could only get ganirelix. So I used cetrotide for 4 days and now ganirelix for 4 days. Cetrotide you have to mix & comes in  doses. The bigger dose you only have to do once for a few days. My RE does not like to use the bigger dose because he liked to have a little more control he said. If you use the .25 it's the same thing as ganirelix really. GL!

    Thanks! I'll have to check to dosage when I get home.  Cetrotide did have the reconstituation step, where ganirelix was a little easier. 

    Sounds like you were stimming for a long time if you were on ganirelix / cetrotide for 8 days.  Good luck and keep us posted!!
