With Larsen I didn't test until 15 dpo, but with my last pregnancy, I tested positive at 10 dpo. It was very , very faint, but still there. However, that ended in m/c at 7 weeks.
I am 10 dpo today and having tons of symptoms. My temp is still up so I tested this morning with a digital and got a big fat no!! I guess if AF doesn't show, I will just keep testing every morning.
Re: Anyone get a BFN at 10 dpo and later get a BFP?
I was testing with this pregnancy for a really long time... I don't really know when I O'd, but counting back, I tested negative for a really long time, and I thought I got my BFP at 9 or 10 days dpo, but dating u/s showed the baby being much older than that... in actuality, I didn't get the BFP till I was already 4 and a half or 5 weeks.
That was strange and rambly. I hope it made sense.
I got a BFN at 10dpo and a BFP at 11dpo. If I decide to have anymore babies after this one I will not be testing on 10dpo. I did that last pregnancy too and had the same thing happen. I don't think I can get a BFP before 11dpo.
Do you think a FRER is more sensitive than the First REsponse digital?
Two angel babies 11/09 and 4/10
It absolutely is. Early response detects hormones at 25, digitals 50. That's a whole day and a half or so sooner!! Eeeek! I'm so anxious for you. I want to say to hold your pee for a few hours and test again, but I know how much BFN's suck...so maybe wait until tomorrow....or whatever will be best for you.
Yes, FRERs are the most accurate & sensitive tests according to studies (at least, Consumer Reports said this years ago, and I believe them). You know your body, and I'm crossing my fingers for you! I also know of plenty people who get positives way late!
But, your temp still being up is a great sign! Good luck!
It depends on your normal LP length - I'd test 1 to 2 days prior to AF's expected date, if it were me. Then again, I've been known to POAS at 9 DPO due to insanity! I vote that it's too early for reliable results.
Also, digitals are way less sensitive than a pink-dye FRER test. I'd say to test tomorrow with FMU with the FRER, or wait until 12DPO if you can.
