2nd Trimester

Anyone 15 weeks and really not feel pregnant

I have a slight bump which could be mistakened by a little bit of a gut. My morning sickness has gone away and I have my energy back. I told DH that I didn't even feel pregnant. He said he can definitely tell my bump has grown and friends that have seen me said it is getting bigger. Guess since I see it everyday I don't notice it much. I thought I would have more of a bump by now!!

  • Been There...once you start to feel movement that feeling goes away.

  • Don't worry.  I am 18 weeks and still have to convince myself that I'm pregnant.  I'm barely showing and feel pretty normal.  If it wasn't for the little movements I've been feeling lately I would still be in denial.  I actually rented a doppler to hear the little one to get me through the 4 weeks between appointments.

Just be patient, it will happen.  :)

  • I'm 15w today and lately haven't really felt pregnant. I woke up somewhat naueseous today though. I'm wearing an actual maternity shirt today and I think it's making me at least LOOK more pregnant, so that's helping me actually feel like I am.

  • I'm 21 wks & still don't feel pregnant, even with my bump sticking out!  It's mostly because I don't feel any movement still.  I think once I feel the baby moving, I'll finally feel pregnant

  • I'm 17wks and don't feel pregnant except for the very end of the day when I collapse on the couch exhausted.
  • I am just 14 weeks, but I am struggling with the same thing-I cannot wait for our next apt (next Wed) just to hear the HB again.....I don't really have a bump, have never been sick, never had extreme tiredness, just a bit more of a "full chest" and a hard little belly (that yes could easily be mistaken for some Holiday eating).

READY to NOT worry anymore and to actually feel pregnant!

Thanks for your post-I asked this same question to the 14 weekers yesterday and everyone was sick, tired, felt pregnant, ect...so this was reassuring even though I am a week behind you!

  • Although I have quite the bump going (this is my second) I don't really "feel" pregnant either.  I've been feeling great.  No more morning sickness and lots of energy.  I felt a little flutter the other day, but that's it.  I think I'm anticipating a lot more this time around.  I know how amazing it is to feel the baby moving around and I just am so impatient for that.  I know it will all happen soon enough, but it's difficult to wait.  Hang in there :)
  • Enjoy it! Seriously I get tired easily, my back hurts, you have trouble bending over and I have started getting lovely swollen hands and feet. I love being pregnant seriously but enjoy feeling normal while you can!

    This.

  • this is exactly how I felt at 15 weeks, and still do mostly.  My bump has started to be noticeable to me in the last week, but to others I still just look like I've got a bit of pudge.  I'm sure soon enough we'll be longing for the days when we could still move around easily and actually had energy!

The bump will come soon enough.  Try to enjoy this time.

  • I'm 15 weeks 4 days.  This morning my DH asked me how the baby was doing and I couldn't really answer him, I don't feeling the baby at all.  So when he got up to get in the shower I rolled over on my stomach for a second and it felt like I was laying on a ball.  That was when I realized... I'm pregnant!  I was only on my stomach for a second and I didn't put my whole weight on it but it was really cool.  You should try it.  It's a good reminder, since you don't have much of a bump.

  • Yup, I know exactly how you feel, I just look and feel fat right now.  I think I may be beginning to feel some flutters though this week, but this is my 2nd pregnancy.

  • I look like I gained weight, but not pregnant yet.. and my m/s just makes me feel sick... not pregnant.
  • I felt this way from about week 14 through 17. This week I am really starting to feel pregnant again.
  • I'm 16.5 weeks and dont feel pregnant!  LOL.  I even still have morning sickness, cramping, and a bump that is very much baby!  I think for me it wont be "real" to me until I can feel baby.

Luckily I have an OB appt today and get to hear baby's heartbeat.  That is always great reassurance!
