  That's what we did for my parents, my parent's tree is covered in handmade ornaments from when we were kids so they like that stuff. Dh's parents tree is all perfect and they don't care for that stuff so we didn't do it for them.

  we got a plaster ornament kit. I got ours from onestepahead.com but I think you can get them at Target or Walmart

  I think it is a perfect gift!

  I went to a paint your own pottery place and did one of our DD's hand/footprints. At my DD's age the footprint was a lot easier than the hand. She is a wiggle worm!
