Just curious what wives tails you have about pregnancy? It seems like I am having a ton more morning sickness this time around and I am curious if other people have has similar experiences.
I don't know if I believe any of it. I had a boy and didn't have any morning sickness at all. I actually felt great and had a great pregnancy. I know people who had morning sickness carrying boys and girls.
People I know who have had really bad morning sickness had it worse with their girl and needed meds. With her boy she felt nauseous but not to the point of being on the floor not functioning.
a coworker of mine has a theory that pregnancies with boys should theoretically have more morning sickness, due to the difference in genetic compatibility between mom and fetus. X vs Y chromosome and all that. i tend to think it simply a theory, doesn't seem to hold true, and it really just depends on the person and the individual pregnancy.

I had bad m/s for 7 months that required zofran to keep anything down and I had a girl; my friend is having her 2nd boy and feels like a million bucks, just like her first pregnancy. It makes me jealous.
My Mom had no m/s with myself or my middle brother, but she had to carry around a bucket with my youngest brother b/c all she did was throw up for 9 months...so I don't necessarily believe the OWT, but I know I'm hoping for a lot less pukey time next go 'round.
