Did your pear puree change color too?

My pear puree is now a purplish color.  I froze most of it and left 1 serving in the fridge for tomorrow and it is now purple.  Is that normal?  TIA.

    Did you use red pears?  Even if you did, it should be more of a pink-ish color, not purple.  Sorry, my pears have never turned purple. :-(

    I use Bartlett and they turned a brownish green color. Definitely darker than I expected.
