yucky words

The other day I was talking about words that I just don't like and I was surprised to find out that a few other people I know have these types of aversions. I guess everyone has words they don't like, but I didn't think so many people would agree with my yucky words. The words that really make me cringe are "moist" "wad" and "panties" Use those in the same sentence and I am ready to vomit.

so what are some words that you dislike?

    Flesh.....I don't like that word or any variation of it, especially Fleshy.

    the "p" word irritates me soo bad..dh works with a bunch of truckers and sometimes he comes home with "trucker" mouth..the other one is when I call him on the phone and he answers..whatcha got ?? uhm..i dont' have anything..hello honey..those things really really bug me

    Panties bothers me as well.

    I also don't like the term 'tits.' I just think it sounds so disrespectful.

     

    A funny one that my SIL doesn't like is 'fanny' but that is only because it's another word for va-jay-jay here in the UK. It's like the equivalent of saying the 'p' one for it, which I also don't like. But I still think it's funny because my Nan always used to say how she was going to smack us on the fanny if we were bad...it's just a totally new meaning here.

    LOL... I'm sorry. My "panty poll" must have had you twitching earlier! ;)

    I only don't like "panties" when my brother say it. Or my sil refers to my 2 year old neice's panties... she's two. She wears undies at best. 

    not too many words bother me. But a girl on 2nd posted yesterday about how much she HATES "prego" and "preggers" ??never bothered me??

    this is preobably pretty dumb but the word "Occoquan" bugs me. and i live like, 10 mins away from there so i here it often!

    I am realizing from all the replies that I have way more words that bother me then I thought. I agree that so many of these other words are gross too. Slacks! who would have thought, but when I say it out loud it bothers me too. wth?
