A couple of months ago I posted about a trip (without the kids) DH surprised me with & asked about tips for pumping when traveling & transporting ebm. Since then I have been pumping like a mad woman trying to make sure I can leave enough ebm for DS. We leave tomorrow & I was just dividing up the milk (the boys are staying part of the time with my mom & part of the time with my ILs) & I have over 200 oz of frozen milk!!! I had no idea, I just kept pumping. Wish me luck on being able to bring the milk I pump while I'm gone back safe & sound! I'd hate to deplete the stash & not be able to replenish it when I get back. Oh, and while I'm definitely going to miss my boys, can I tell you how excited I am at the prospect of getting 8 hrs of uninterrupted sleep (although I'll probably have to get up to pump)!?! I'll report back with ebm travel tips for those interested. See y'all next week! ETA: I just noticed I'm finally no longer a newbie!! Woohoo bronze!
Re: holy cow I pumped a lot of milk
I totally LOLed at "holy cow"
Do you feel like a dairy cow yet?
Way too go!
And kittyfx, we have a 2nd fridge/freezer in our garage. The freezer has nothing but ebm in it!
