So, I have a scheduled c-section on 1/6 (less than a month!) and the nursery isn't even remotely done, I only have a few outfits washed, and really have nothing else done to prepare for this baby... am I the ONLY one?
I just finished this weekend with 1 week to go! I felt like we cut it too close for comfort Just pace yourself . Working full time makes it difficult to do anything around the house.
We bought a 110 year old house 3 months ago that needed a new kitchen. I still have boxes in the room that will be the nursery. If this baby comes early he's probably going to sleep in a dresser drawer.
Well, I have a ways more than you, but we haven't even started. The nursery is still being used as an office and we have really nothing prepared. We were going to start working on it this week, but then we got sick and haven't done anything.
My c-section is in one week and I currently have a half done nursery, no kitchen and a whole lot of food and boxes of stuff in my lounge and the nursery. Whose idea was it to move house and then renovate the kitchen right before baby was due? Originally we had three weeks from today but they have bought my c-section forward and now I am totally panicking.

We have all our gear bought, but we're moving at 37 weeks. Every waking moment I jump around saying "this needs to be done, I need to pack, we need to move, why can't I do anything about that yet" but it's just not possible to make enough progress to still my nerves. It's going to drive me crazy. We definitely wouldn't be moving if we hadn't stumbled on such a better apartment.
The only thing that keeps me going is the thought that at least the baby will be close to term in case the stress of it sends me into labor.
I bought paint two weeks ago to finally start getting the nursery ready, but I guess DH had different plans. He decided to strip and restain the wood trim that had been painting, lay new carpet, then paint and put the nursery together. Well, seeing as how he is only home one day a week, nothing has been done except the wood around one window and one door. Doesn't look like we'll have much of a nursery for LO. If I didn't have a cradle (that is yet to have any kind of matress or pad yet) I would probably end up using a dresser drawer too. LOL
Re: Anyone not near done?
I have like, 6 outfits.
The Hitchhiker's going to show up with nothing to wear to his own party. Much less anywhere to sleep or anything to eat out of.
