So either my bag of waters is leaking...

in 2nd Trimester

Or I  just peed myself.

 Anyone had this happen?? I was sitting here at work typing (no sneezing, no urge to pee) and I felt a really warm gush so I went to the bathroom.  There is no blood or anything but it soaked my pad and got my pants a bit wet.  It didn't smell or look like pee.  I am freaking myself out here.

    how far are you? I'd call your Dr and ask.

    Having an accident on yourself is possible.. but umm.. if you don't think that's what it was you should be heading to your doctor or to Labor and delivery.

    I would call my doc. That doesn't sound like normal 2nd tri stuff to me...

    GO TO the doctor!! Amnio fluid is usually clear and sometimes has a sweet smell. anything like that?? GO GO!!

    CALL YOUR DOC.  Better safe than sorry, especially since you said it didn't smell like urine.

    If it doesn't smell like pee and you didn't feel like you "slipped" I think you need to call or head in ASAP.  Not to scare you, but better safe then sorry.  T&P's and keep us posted.  Now Go!!!

    Thanks.  I am almost 19 weeks so it seems early.  I have my regular checkup in a few hours so I might hold off until then.

     I'll update later to let you know what they say.

    If you have to go in anyways, why not just head over now.  Work will understand when you tell them you are having an issue.  You don't want to go later and find out you should have come right away.

    I wouldn't hold out, what if your water DID break? Thats serious adn needs to be checked out ASAP.

    You really should go to the doctor now, don't wait a few hours. Not to scare you, but if it's your water breaking, your baby could be in serious trouble. It could be pee (it happens a lot) but better safe than sorry.

    something like thsi happened to me when i was preggers with DD. i was 1 week early and i was laying in bed eating cereal and all of a sudden a had a gush so i rushed myself to L&D and it turned out that i lost 5 pounds of water retention!!! i mean, yes....literally 5 pouinds of water that i retained in my fat ankles! lol.

    there's a name for this and it's very uncommon, but that's what happened to me. i would still go to L&D though just to make sure!

    I hope all is well!  I was feeling like I was leaky and told my doc about it and she asked if I was having "gushing" like symptoms.  Or if it was trickling down my leg...t & p with you!!!
