My POTW entry isn't there...

Do you think it's because they turned 6 months today? Were we disqualified?

Either way I'm gonna AW it here instead.

Here's Vintage Jake at 8 hours old right before he went to the NICU for the next 24 days.

    He developed necrotizing enterocolitis following blood sugar maintenance issues. He was a big, incredibly late term preemie to get it and surprised the docs. Now he's a perfectly healthy winkel thief.

    That's weird.  I remember your entry when I was snooping to see what kind of entries there were.  I remember it because I said to myself "smart girl" for writing your name across it.

    Thanks.  It was tough going there for a few days but luckily he never had a bowel perforation and managed to avoid surgery.
