No sew crib rail cover?

Wasn't there someone recently who PIP their no sew crib rail cover?  Anyone remember who that was?  The ones online are very pricey and half of them are white.  WTF?

I'm not so much concerned about protecting the crib, as I am my LO.  We're doing CIO and he's chewing on the rail, last "nap" he was covered in white paint flecks.
