Sorry if this is going to sound really stipud but I have to ask. Women who are carrying multiples, do they always carry low because of the carrying more than one LO? Or is it the same if your carrying one and the old wise tale of having a boy if your carrying low?
I've been told numerous times that I'm carrying very low, I just assumed its because both babies are head down and I have a rather long torso. We arent going to find out what they are. I tell them that we are carrying two in there and maybe that's why I'm carrying so low.......
Anyone carrying high with multiples?
Re: Carrying low
I think you carry everywhere : ) My Baby A is very low (we haven't even been able to see her face on u/s for a few weeks!). Baby B is higher and makes it look like my right side is bigger most of the time.
We were out to dinner the other night and our waiter commented that he was wondering if I was carrying twins and said "it looked like you hadn't even dropped yet!" So I think people see the higher portion of Baby B, but don't realize that Baby A is really low : )
I am carrying low, but here is my theory (and totally just that!)- Baby A has an anterior placenta and seems to be closer to the surface, Baby B has posterior placenta and is deeper inside. So, lower baby makes my lower belly go out farther, and upper baby is deeper inside.
Like I said, this is my own theory, no clue if there is any correlation.
