Sophia sweats like a man.
It was 28 degrees on Sunday and we put Sophia in a long-sleeved onesie, zipped up cotton jacket, jeans and a pair of socks. Then we put just a blanket over her (nothing too terribly heavy) and then she has her little fabric carseat cover that is very thin, it basically just blocks wind.
Jordan and I are both always hot so we never have the heat on very high in the house or in the car. We went on probably a 10 minute drive and when we got Sophia out she was drenched in sweat. Her hair was wet! She has always done this.
We bought her one of those super warm snow outfit things, I know that's not what they're called but they just remind me of snowsuits. We're seriously afraid to ever put her in it unless we're going to be outside for a long period of time because we don't want her to overheat.
Does anyone else's LO sweat like this? I mean, we barely put her in anything heavy at all and she was just drenched with sweat. I feel horrible and am so afraid she'll overheat or something!
ETA: I'm asking about this because when we were out it seemed like all the babies had those big heavy snowsuit things on or super thick & heavy blankets. Sophia would have just died! I feel like I'm going to look like a bad mama if I'm out in public and all she has on is a little blanket! lol

Babies this young have issue regulating their temps so extremities aren't telltale signs of being too hot or cold. I'd much rather use layers and peel back as needed than over/under dress. That and pack extra clothing if it gets damp. The worst thing would be to get damp in any form and chilled once exposed to cold/cool air..
