The "Money Shot"

I noticed a lot of people posting their U/S pictures of the genitalia and calling it a money shot.  I always thought the money shot was something that happened during sex.  Am I wrong?

    I'm sorry, but this post cracked me up so much! I have always known "money shot" to mean the picture that makes the money. Or at least to be derived from that usage. But I am sure there is also a sexual use of that term. 

    Just like Clerks taught me at too young an age - there is more than one kind of "snowball."

    Yes, in the world of the nasty, the "money shot" is usually in reference to a specific action, a wrapping up of a process, if you will; generally located on a specific spot upon one's person (generally the woman).

    As I'm not interested in grossing out any particular group of Bumpies further, painting myself as the picture of one too-knowing of certain "colorful" terminology, or getting myself policed on here for indecency; I'll be stopping short right here.

    I will also NOT be using the term "money shot" when I'm finally given my big ultrasound pic next week!

    Wiki has the definition I was thinking of - LOL!!  I had never heard it used in any other context.  Glad I could make you all laugh :)

    It's so funny that you bring this up now b/c I was just having this conversation with DH last night. I referred to our baby's "money shot" and he gave me a weird look and then explained to me that it's a porno term about a specific action. I had no idea, but I'm sure glad I haven't used that term around anyone else!
