Hi All!
I am looking for a child care/home care in the Exton/Downingtown area. As a first time mom, I am very nervous entrusting someone will be there for my baby girl and give her the amount of attention I do. Ideally, I am looking for a place to nurture and hold her. There's a bunch of corporate facilities such as Kindercare, Goddard School, Malvern School around here which I haven't visit, but I'm not sure if they offer the same attention?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Re: Exton/Downingtown Childcare?
You need to visit them so you can stop worrying!
Malvern School is great, as I'm sure Goddard is as well. We went with Kindercare for the price and the people that work there - the baby is happy and so are we!
I was sick with the thought of sending my daughter to daycare. I cried about it for weeks during my maternity leave. I don't think I will ever be 100% happy with not being home with my baby, but I can tell you that I feel completely comfortable with the staff at the Malvern School in Downingtown. I visited many daycare centers during my pregnancy and the Malvern School really made the best impression on me. Now that my baby has been going to the Malvern School for the last 3 months, I feel like she is getting the best care I can give her when I am at work. The staff is very caring, knowledgeable and friendly.
My best advice for you is to visit as many daycare centers as you can and to go with the one that feels right to you. Once your little one starts going to daycare, plan to stop by the center at different times during the day when the staff isn't expecting you. I've done this to give myself peace of mind and I can tell you that I have always been pleased with what I've witnessed at the Malvern School. If one daycare center doesn't work out, know that you can always move your little one to another center. Good Luck!
