Babies: 9 - 12 Months

How do you store your jars of baby food?

Sounds like a silly question but I don't know what to do.

Obviously, we keep ours on a shelf in the pantry, but last night DH bought TONS of baby food, like I don't know if we'll ever have to buy more, and I was putting it away but realizing you can't really see to tell what you have!

We have this for our canned goods and it helps me see what I have so I might go get another one for baby food! Any other ideas?

  • i just have a designated area in the pantry as well.  The homemade stuff is either in the fridge or freezer.

  • I have one cupboard devoted to baby feeding stuff.  I front face all the jars I have, stacking them on each other according to type.

  • Baby food has it's own shelf in the pantry. Fruits, veggies and meats are divided up.
  • We have this organizer, it works pretty well.

that's what we do.  i'm not usually concerned with seeing the label on the jar.  he'll eat all of it and if he gets peas two nights in a row....oh well.  lol.

Does that work well with the non-jared baby food? The Gerber ones that come in a plastic container.

  • I have three 12-packs of Earth's Best... I just keep them in the cardboard flat and stack them on top of each other on our counter.

No, unfortunately it doesn't.  That's the one thing I don't like about it.
