anyone leaking amniotic fluid?

here are my symptoms. i'm wondering if its worth calling the doctor.

noticed a lot more baby movement this morning. i feel like i cant quite get dry (more than usual), and im having a dull abdominal pain in several areas. i'm only 34 weeks....anyone else have any of this? should i chill?

    I'm having the same thing, so I'm curious to see the answers... I'm guessing it's probably just some extra 'joys' thrown in for good measure at the end of pregnancy, but never know!

    Honestly, if you think you are leaking amniotic fluid, I would call your doctor.  With my DD, I was leaking fluid at 37 weeks, and they induced me b/c of the increased risk of infection.  FWIW, there was a definite difference between normal discharge and amniotic fluid.  The amniotic fluid was clear and smelled sort of salty, I think (sorry, TMI Stick out tongue).  I remember it seeming almost like water.

     When it happened to me, I didn't have any other symptoms and I almost didn't call, but I was surprised that the doctor took it so seriously.  The doctor actually told me that I should have called sooner (I waited a day).  I don't mean to scare you!  But I wish I would have know that last time around Smile  I doubt they'd induce at 34 weeks, but I think they would at least want to keep a close eye on you.

    thanks for the info!!!

    I called my dr. and they had me come in to check it out. turns out it's just more fluid than usual...one of the 1,023 fun things about pregnancy :)
