Breastmilk from the fridge

If you take BM out of the fridge and are going to use it an hour or so later do you have to keep it cold with an ice pack or can you leave it out for a little while?

    I just leave it out, but I'm more careful with milk that's been in there for more than 3 days or so (even though BM can stay in the fridge for 8ish days).
