Had first appointment yesterday and everything looked good. I am now spotting. I called dr. and they said it was normal. I was just curious who has experience this.
Everytime anything went in there, I spotted. No worries. It's very very common! Remember this when you have sex though. That can also cause spotting, nothing to fear!

Professionally speaking, hormones (particularly progesterone) can make the cervix very fragile. When they take a pap, they scrap cells from the outside of the cervix which can cause bleeding that has absolutely NOTHING to do with the baby. Do not worry about it.
You may have spotting after a Pap test regardless of whether you are pregnant or not. It is common, don't worry about it (as the ladies above have said). Ideally, your doctor should have warned you about this (I always try to remember to let my patients know about this, to avoid anxiety, especially in pregnancy!)!
