This just happened to me.

I don't understand it.

My aunt and her friend came over just a few seconds ago.  The friend was saying goodbye and touched my belly and said, "goodbye baby.  Ashley's thinking, 'ugh, don't touch my belly.' "  Whether or not I was actually thinking that, if you thought I would think that, why would you still touch my belly? 

And of course I was thinking that, I hardly know this chick.

I don't get it. And it annoys me.  Don't effing touch me.

    I'm REALLY not looking forward to that.  Not sure if you read the post last week on TN from Katie about personally space, but I made a comment about the possible future belly touching.  I hate physical contact with most people.

    She is the first sober person to actually touch the beast.  Besides my mom or Timm.  My mom thinks it is a great game to touch the beast.  When drunk people do it, I think it is funny.  They are all so excited and I have never had anyone do it without asking...even drunk people ask!

    I had someone touch my belly last week when I told her I was PG.  Uh, hello?  There's not even anything there yet.  At least I can *kind of* understand it when you actually have a belly.  Some people have no boundaries!

    I'm way into personal space and I appreciate people staying out of my bubble....Next time I'd remove her hand and say "I have boundaries, mmmkthanks"

    I don't understand why people think that pregnant women & babies are public property.  Do not rub the belly, do not put your fingers in a baby's mouth.  It's really just common sense & common courtesy!
