Yes. If you are just about do for yours or if haven't had one within the last year, your OB will mostlikely do it at your first appointment. A word of caution - you'll probably spot afterwards, so don't freak!
not stupid! Yes, they are okay but I postponed mine b/c they always come back abnormal and even though OB says biopsy is safe too didn't want to do that. Luckily I snuck by them unnoticed!

Yes I was so mad to have one though b/c it made me bleed and bleed! They tell you will will bleed, but it made me so panicky! Don't worry though they are perfectly normal to have
yes, I was scared to DEATH about getting one (especially since i have a sensitive cervix/incompetent). I got one both pregnancies (one i had a 2nd tri loss unrelated to that)....
It's ok to get. It still freaks me out, but it is ok to do.
