A little irritating. (mini vent)

in 2nd Trimester

Am I the only one tired of answering the question, "are you excited?"  Even more, I'm tired of hearing, "You don't seem excited."  Well world, I'm not just finding out I'm pregnant.  I have known for about 5 months now so the excitement has worn off a bit.  I can't do a song and dance for you because you think that I should.

    I just get the "how are you feeling?" question 86 times a day.  Eh, comes with the territory I suppose

    I am tired of hearing "How are you feeling." I always say good because any other answer would be, "oh what is wrong?"

    yes! If I have to say "im so excited" I might actually punch some one. I want to say, " I am not excited at all. I am grumpy, hungry, and drowsy 24/7. My feet swell at the thought of walking around."

    I feel like I am having the same small talk with strangers all the time.

    Agreed.  My response is alwasys yes and good.  Not like I want to share my actual feelings and complaints with every stranger that asks me.  If I wanted to tell you how it was going, I'd tell you before you asked LOL.

    Agreed...and when I was sick 24/7 for the first 3 months, it was hard to have constant elation.

    Yep, totally comes with the territory, but doesn't mean you can't still be annoyed!  Since I have a son already, I'm always getting the "bet you really want a girl" comment, followed by "so you can close up shop."  It's just those standard comments people make, and all we can do is grin and bear it.
