LO is 6 days old and I am giving him a bath today. I feel bad for waiting so long but between my toddler and the little one I haven't had much time. He still smells so sweet and new so I didn't feel a huge urgency but now I feel bad. How about you?
I didn't bathe DD until her cord fell off. Before that it was sponge bathing. I guess it was two weeks after she was born I finally tried the bath with her.
I'm pretty sure my nb was about six days old when I bathed him. He was bathed in the hospital so I didn't feel too bad. /i had complications and was in a lot of pain at first too.
My three year old son loves to help bathe his brother.
They gave DS his first bath at the hospital then I sponge bathed him twice before his cord fell off (about 2 weeks) The day it fell off I've been bathing him either every night or every other night....he LOVES being in the water!
Re: How soon did you bath your nb at home and how often?
