those with dogs

I have a fenced in yard, but when it's cold out, our dogs hate going out. The love to go for walks, but when it is so cold it is hard for me to get LO out for a walk everyday. Who walks the dog in your family? Do you take LO with you everyday?

    DH usually picks up K with the pup and they take a walk around the neighborhood before I get home or while I'm making dinner.  If it is too cold he waits until we've put K down and takes Skittles for a walk.  Usually on the weekends we go to the lake together and bundle up K so SKittles can get some exercise.  DH also tries to take her for a hike at least once a week weather permitting.

    we have a neurotic terrier and a greyhound who hates her collar.  walks are non-existant for us.  we usually let them out in the fenced in back yard and play with them.

    Our dog tends to tone it down outside in the winter and just goes out to do his business.  He's a ranch dog and has free roam.  His girlfried (another dog in town about a block away) comes over  and they run and play in the hills next to our house.
