DS had his 2 month checkup (healthy little boy!!!
) and he also got his shots. He screamed, I bawled... anyway, he slept for most of the day. For the last hour, he's been very fussy. His cry sounds different. It isn't a normal Jack cry. We fed him and I put him in the sling. I am prepared to stay this way as long as he needs. We also gave him Tylenol. I am feeling horrible because he's not feeling well.
Could the weird cry be because he's in pain and I've never heard that type before? I can recognize his different cries - I'm hungry, I'm bored/grumpy, I'm tired, or don't wipe my butt/get me dressed.
This just sucks. My heart is breaking for him. I also spilled over a bottle's worth of BM (about 6oz) so I'm really upset over that...
UGH!
Re: Please help -- shots, crying
I really hope he's happy Jack tomorrow. My heart is breaking. I don't know how moms with babies in the NICU or hospital or with health problems do it. This is torture and it's his freaking 2 month shots which are no big deal. I need to get a grip!
