Gift for friend

Sorry if you all get asked this a lot, but I've never posted on the Bump before and really have no clue about anything baby/pregnancy-related :)

One of my co-workers just announced her pregnancy. She's 9 weeks, and I'd like to get her something small. I was thinking a pregnancy journal? Is there even such a thing? I'm sure she's bought all "the books" herself. Is there a better gift idea, though? Don't want to spend more than $30.

    A picture frame for her first u/s is a cute idea.  I got one and I love it!

    I bought a close friend (so this may not be appropriate) a bella band (motherhoodmaternity.com) and some Palmer's cocoa butter for stretchmarks.  She had 2 previous miscarraiges so I wanted to get her something non-baby related.  Things that she can use to pamper herself are nice...like a pedicure.

    is she at all creative? a scrapbook or digital scrapbook might be fun! https://www.oscraps.com sells digital scrapbook kits (a gift certificate might be ideal for that) - regular stuff you can find at a craft store. :]

    I agree with lotions or a pedicure. ?I had a m/c before this pregnancy and would've been devastated if I had a bunch of baby stuff in the house. ?This way, if something happens, it's a great gift that she can still use and then it's gone and she doesn't have to keep looking at it. ?If all goes well she will need all the relaxation she can get!
