Bed Battles! Rant...

DH is a big guy (tall and not really what you would call "in shape", but not as far as to call him fat), and usually takes about 2/3 of our Olympic Queen size bed with his long arms that he doesn't know how to keep tucked to his sides. I had started bugging him about getting a King size bed a month into this pregnancy since I knew when I got to this point, where I feel like my belly is going to split open since my skin can't possibly stretch anymore, I would need far more then my tiny 1/3 of the bed, and I do. He keeps complaining that I hit him at night and wake him up, which I do when he rolls into my Snoogle, putting pressure on LO that causes me pain. I swear I will not have another baby till we get a bigger bed, even if that means becoming abstinent! (birth control is against our beliefs).

I would never sleep without our king sized bed. Its all worth it, my friend.
This. DH and I started sleeping in a twin, then moved to a queen and now we're in a king. now whenever we go to his parents and stay the night in the guest room, we get all squished and can't sleep. They have a queen. I guess once you go king, you can never go back.

  • I am a total bed hog! Or at least I used to be....ever since I got pregnant I don't move and spread out as much. I'm still a cover hog though!

We have a King luckily though so it gives us both plenty of room. Sometimes I wonder how we ever slept on our double bed that we had our first year married.
