DS Didn't Sleep At All Last Night - HELP!!

i know i'm far from alone on this, but we're going through a rough patch w/ nighttime sleeping. or lack thereof. for the first few weeks, ds would usually go down around 9p, wake up at 10p, be up until midnight, and then would wake up 2, maybe 3 times a night for a feeding/burp/change.
that was then...
starting this time last week, he basically stopped sleeping at night. i'm lucky if he stays asleep for an hour. the most he slept last night was about one hour, and that was broken up between midnight and 6:30 this morning. is anyone else going through this? he would fuss, i'd feed him, he'd fuss, i'd burp him, he'd fuss, i'd change him, and then he'd be calm, but wide awake. and the cycle continued....anyone dealing with/dealt with this? how did you cope? i'm running on empty here. please tell me it gets better!!!

I have no advice but this is us too! This started on Friday night after being pretty good about sleeping at night. He really isnt sleeping much during the day either! It is no fun.
ETA: Have you noticed if he is sleeping well during naps during the day? I have noticed that my son doesnt seem to get to the deep sleep stage he used to. I am thinking he is just so exhuasted at this point. I hope an extra long warm bath tonight will fix it for us. Good luck.
