Safety Gate for Extra Wide Staircase

Hi ladies,

The bottom of my staircase flares at the bottom so that it is extra wide. Can you please recommend a safety gate? Perferrably one that I do not have to drill holes into the stairway posts.

We LOVED this gate. We purchased it at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. We went into the store and used our 20% off coupon and just had it shipped to our house. It was cheaper to do it this way than to purchase at Babies R Us.

We had to get an extension gate as well. We were able to attach it to our walls and not touch the stairwell.

We went through several other gates searching for the perfect gate to fit around the stairs. This was the only one. It held up perfectly with Katie banging and kicking things against it. We just took it down this weekend.

I would totally sell it to you, but we just aren't quite done using it just yet. We left the brackets in the wall to put it back up when my neices and nephews are visiting. Plus, we plan to have more kids, so it will need to go back up them.
