3rd Trimester
The to do's before LO
So I was just talking to DH and discussing the things we have to have done before LO makes his debut. We have to paint 3 peices of furniture, finish two art projects for LO's room, set up extra room as at home office for me, organize garage (so I can park in there), and do a huge overhaul on the yard. Doesn't seem to much to me thinking about 2-3 weekends and we can be done.
What does everyone else want to accomplish before their LO comes?

This is just to start with off the top of my head. There is way to much to do yet!
Wow, that is quite the list!
We need to put the wall art up in the nursery, intall the car seat bases, put together the stroller (if it needs to be assembled, still in the box right now), shop for the final essentials that are still left on our registry, pack the hospital bags, pick up the glider and finish washing up some of LO's clothes.
ETA: FInd a pedi and day care...ugh.

I need my nesting instint to come - so I can actually have the house cleaned!!
Finish her laundry.
DH needs to hand her curtains in her room.
Organize Nursery and Closet.
Re-arrange our room so bassinet will fit.
Organize shelf in kitchen for bottles and formula (if needed).
Pack both bags.
Have carseat installed (after Christmas).

LOL i was just B!tching at DH about the things to do! HAHAH
We have to finish painting his room, put all furniture together, clean the garage, clean out the closet in his room, and start the organizing. Our baby shower is on Jan 9th, although i don't have to do anything for the shower its self. We are having it at our house, so that means we have a lot of work to do.. we have a ton of unfinished projects we started when we moved in last year......
we can do it all, we just have to make the time. DH is off from the Rain today, but of course hes playing with his friends instead of doing the TO DO list. BOYS! they make me crazy.
I'm at home today, haven't done a dran thing, I am reading these TO DO lists and just got this feeling of guilt.I still have so much to do

The nursery & home are pretty much ready.
I want to cook & freeze some meals since my H does not cook.
And I want to visit our daycare candidate this week if I can make it in.
Other than that - car seat installation and hospital bag, that's it.
I'm not providing any reasons for LO to put a hold on his arrival! These things don't have to be finished before the big day, but they are on the to do list:
1. car seat base installed
2. basinet cleaned and mattress pad, sheets put on (receiving froma friend this weekend to borrow)
3. clothes washed (mostly washing hand me downs for now, until we see what's needed)
4. shelves and vinyl lettering up in LO's room
NBR: outdoor lights installed on each side of the garage, new ceiling light in kitchen installed, trim above pantry in kitchen replaced, bathroom deep/thorough cleaning, wrap all holiday presents
There is a ton we want to do (like re-paint the living room) but it isn't going to get done LOL!
We have everything we "need" already set up, the only additional things I will need in the coming months is a good breast pump and bottles. Hanging pictures in LO's room can wait along with getting a bookcase, he won't know the difference anyway.
This is pretty much everything... DH and I made a list on Google Docs and update it as it gets done. Can you tell I'm a bit of an organization nut?;)
Change batteries in smoke detectors, CO detector
Assemble Crib -Done
Move white dresser to accommodate diaper pail-Done
Put together Pack 'n' Play in bedroom- Done
Line dresser drawers w/ Contact paper - Done
Wash, fold, and put away baby clothes/blankets/towels-Done
Sort and count all baby clothes by size and make spreadsheet- Done
Mount Pictures in Baby's room
Assemble Baby Swing- Done
Assemble BOB Stroller + Adapter- Done
Charge Baby Monitor- Done
Car Seat Installation Check- Done
Vacuum baby's bedroom-Do Again
Clean Baby's Bathroom
Make Birth Announcements
Print out labels for announcements
Decorate for Christmas

Swing (4 D) Done

Clean our whole house so that I can then call a house cleaner to do a deep clean
Buy the remaining things we need for her (0-3 clothing, baby bathtub)
