m/s -- any remedies work for you?

This has probably been asked a thousand times but I'm going to ask again.  What have you found to help reduce/eliminate m/s?  I'm desperate since I was lake to work today due to my head being in the toilet and I'm pretty much queasy all day.

DH is supposed to pick up some preggy pops for me today.  I'm open to any ideas!

Thanks!

  • I've got nothing, wish I did though. Will keep an eye on this post, it's just getting worse for me now.

This.  And cheaper than the pg. pops.

  • Canada Dry Ginger Ale & preserved prune helped me with my m/s.
  • I was a mess this morning and freaking out, b/c I have an all-day training meeting with my boss tomorrow (normally she's in CA and I am in PA, so I usually don't have to worry about her seeing me feel sick).

DH is awesome and went out and got me ginger ale, lemon drops, Sea Bands and peppermint candies. The ginger ale is so-so, but the lemon drops and Sea bands have made a HUGE difference! Haven't tried the peppermint yet - I'm sticking with what works!

  • mine has been getting increasingly worse and yesterday it was really bad. Last night i went to the store and bought saltines, gingerale, string cheese, and peppermints. I put the saltines in my nightstand and ate a few before i even sat up and then came into the kitchen got a stringcheese and ate it curled up on the couhc and no nausea at all! Maybe I'm just lucky it worked that well, but it's worth a try right?

    Good Luck!

  • Sucking on a hard candy like a preggie pop helped a little when I had a random wave of nausea but the only thing that gave me real relief was Zofran. I had nausea most of the day (worst time was night time). I tried tons of things. I tried ginger gum, ginger tea, sea bands, and all sorts of nonsense that didn't work.?

  • Try everything, see what works. For me, it's granny smith apples. sometimes it's salt and vinegar chips. Gives me bloat because of the salt, but i'll take bloat over nausea. GL!
