I have been back for awhile and tried to post from my phone a few times but it never worked, so I waited and rested a bit and decided to get up for a few mins
The transfer went wonderfully and we had great fertilization, better than we've ever had before! We transferred an 8 cell, grade A; an 8 cell, grade B; and a 7 cell, grade B. She said she never ever gives out A's, this was one of very few but she felt she had to give it the gold star it deserved! There was no fragmentation in any of the three either.
The decision to transfer the third was pretty much made for us by the embryologist and our RE but we trust both of them and think it was the right thing to do. The embryologist did think it had an excellent chance of continuing to grow in the lab and being able to freeze, but then we started talking about thaw rates and in the end we thought the best place was my uterus!
So, I am a total realist and while I am remaining very positive and hopeful, I also know that fantastic embryos do not always equal pregnancy.
Thank you girls for everything! I really hope that at least one of these is settling in and get comfty until late August
