My lower back hurts so bad! I can not go from sitting to standing right now. I feel like I get to a certain point and "lock" It is my lower right back. Anyone have any suggestions. This is HORRIBLE!
Heat pack was all that helped me at all and even then it still hurt. I went to my chiropractor too but there was only so much he could do at the end there. Sorry!

I'm also going to the chiro for the same reason, no fun!! I use the heating pad too. The only other thing I can tell you is don't wear heels, make sure your shoes have good support and you use a good chair. Oh and try to make a conscious effort to not stand with your belly sticking way out - that is, don't arch your lower back forward. Try to pull it in a little so your spine has less pressure on it. I'm trying to do that too but it's easy to forget!
Sorry it hurts so badly. Don;t sit with your legs tucked under you, keep them out and on something. Stand straight. Also, try a prenatal cradle - it has been a lifesaver for me!!

Thank you everyone. I pretty much stayed on the couch all day yesterday. I woke up this morning feeling pretty good. As the day has gone on it has gotten progressively worse. I can not pick anything up when I drop it. We will see how work goes tomorrow (a 12hr day).
My OB referred me to a chiro who works with her patients. He has me doing exercises at home, and I go to the office twice a week for tissue work/adjustments. He also ordered me to have a massage once a week!
I've only been going a couple weeks so far, but I can tell I'm starting to have some improvement.
